"Mais les Morts Auront le Wifi (But the Dead Will Have the Wifi)

To have a meaning, this title should also have a beginning, and yet we all know what it means. All you need is to be a body inhabiting the contemporary world to understand it. Companies and states are collectively suiciding us. Most living beings inhabiting the Earth are stopping doing this. Meanwhile, we spend our days, our weeks, our lives, obeying orders that make no sense to feed our landlords. The Third World is dying while the West, claiming its exemplarity, suffocates in its own farts. But it's all worth it, of course. When we’ll go to work with our connected shoes so we can buy cancer for our children, we’ll be able to stop at the side of the road to watch the fields of graves extend as far as the eye can see. As an epitaph, the green light will flash to remind us that it was all worth it. There will be no more trees to hang from anyway.

And my music in all this, since that’s what it’s about? I could say that it’s one of the only means available to a proletarian artist like me to have a voice. That would be true but not really honest. The truth is, I make music for the same reason that apple trees make apples : that’s my way of being alive. Music doesn't solve any problem, doesn't heal any wound. What it can do is accompany us, enter into us, vibrate within us, then come out of us, charged with what inhabits us. There's nothing else going on in this EP, and that's worth it. I mean, really."

This comment is based on the limited pre-release tracks. D&J are back with their sonic calling card at the beginning of this track.
